Sage Oil Vac was the first client and first graduate of the WTAMU Enterprise Center.  Sage Oil Vac designs and manufactures the patented Oil Vac, an on-site fluid handling and transportation system.  As a husband and wife team, Gary and Helen Sage had been in business for almost 7 years before they moved into the Enterprise Center in January 2002.  The business accelerated quickly and Sage Oil Vac grew to 15 employees upon its graduation from the facility in May 2004.  Now, the company occupies a 24,000 sq ft manufacturing facility and employs 25 people.  Sage Oil Vac meets regularly with the WTAMU Enterprise Center for coaching, training and strategic growth opportunities.  Sage Oil Vac has also contributed as a mentor to new companies within the Enterprise Network.

STONEFAB INTERNATIONAL, LLC
4005 Amarillo Blvd, Amarillo, Texas 79106

StoneFab was a pure start-up that began in the WTAMU Enterprise Center .  StoneFab is a custom fabricator of granite tile and countertops for residential and commercial applications.  The owner, Nagarjun Samala, worked nights and weekends while maintaining his day job to start the company that now employs 10 people and occupies a 6,000 sq ft facility.  Stonefab continues to rely on coaching and training as an external client of the WTAMU Enterprise Center.

Virtual Drive is an external client of the WTAMU Enterprise Center.  After helping their teenagers through the daunting process of parent-taught driver education, Kevin and Eliza Knapp created a software tool to provide online driver education and certification throughout the US.  Their online driver education program is now an industry leader in the market for parent-taught driver education and recognized in several states as the only online source for driver education.  The WTAMU Enterprise Center has facilitated the growth of the company by providing access to service providers within the network.  Most recently, Dave Rausch, associate professor of Political Science at WTAMU, conducted a survey of Virtual Drive customers to test the effectiveness of the software program in training student drivers.  After participation in the Virtual Drive course 90% of students passed their driving exam on the first attempt; the survey also shows a dramatic contract in the safe driving habits of students who took the Virtual Drive course versus the State of Texas Course 101.
